Ghosts and Folklore of Wales with Mark Rees

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Haunted Wales!; or, Creepy Welsh Castles: Gwrych Castle: Ghosts and Folklore of Wales with Mark Rees podcast EP10

TV show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” will be filmed in a haunted Welsh castle in 2020. What ghosts can Ant and Dec and the rest of the team expect to find lurking inside?

The 10th episode of the Ghosts and Folklore of Wales podcast is live NOW, and it’s all about “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

In what is the first – and possibly the last! – topical episode of the Ghosts and Folklore podcast, I take a look at the ghosts which might be popping up on the new series of TV reality show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

The show is usually filmed in sunny Australia but, due to the current circumstances, has been relocated to somewhere much closer to home – to Wales, in fact, and if the news reports are correct, to a haunted Welsh castle.

“There’s a woman in white watching from the windows, a woman in red stalking the grounds…”

So in the first of a semi-regular series of podcasts looking at the creepy castles of Wales, I investigate the spooks and spectres said to be haunting Gwrych Castle.

There’s a woman in white watching from the windows, a woman in red stalking the grounds, an undead butler walking the stairs, and even a phantom horse making a noise where the stables once stood.

These supernatural sights have been experienced by a diverse cast of witnesses, from a title-winning boxer to the castle’s duty manager, and you can listen to them all by pressing the play button below.
