A haunted Wales podcast exploring Wales’ “most haunted” places
At the start of 2020, Mark Rees launched the world’s first podcast dedicated to weird and wonderful Welsh ghost stories, folklore, myths and legends.
By combining Mark’s research and insights from his books and articles with long-lost tales from dusty old tomes, it takes a unique look at countless curious subjects that have long fascinated inquisitive minds.
Spanning everything from real-life encounters with pesky poltergeists to fantastical beasts from the Mabinogion, it quickly established itself as one of the most-downloaded paranormal podcasts on the planet with a dedicated following of global listeners.
If proof were needed that there’s an appetite for these yarns outside of the confines of Wales, at the time of writing the largest demographic of Ghosts & Folklore of Wales fans are tuning in are from America (thank you, America!).
The Ghosts & Folklore of Wales podcast delves into a different strange subject every Thursday, ranging from folkloric favourites like the Mari Lwyd to more obscure accounts of hauntings which had been safely hidden away in the archives for centuries… until now.
