Mark Rees on BBC Radio Wales

Mark visited the BBC’s new Cardiff office to talk ghosts and folklore with Roy Noble

Roy Noble delves into the world of the paranormal in Swansea and Gower, with author and investigator Mark Rees.

The PARANORMAL SWANSEA AND GOWER launch tour continued on September 8 with a visit to the BBC’s new studios in Cardiff.

Mark joined BBC Radio Wales broadcasting legend Roy Noble for a conversation about the paranormal, and if you’re quick, you can catch the interview online via BBC Sounds—available for one month after broadcast.

They squeezed a heck of a lot of paranormal activity into a radio interview, covering some of the book’s most fascinating topics, including:

  • The Swansea Spring-heeled Jack
  • The Rhondda Street poltergeist
  • The little fairy folk (Verry Volk) of Gower.
  • The White Lady of Swansea Grand Theatre

Roy also shared a chilling story from Brecon, where an entity wreaked havoc in a pub frequented by military personnel stationed in the area.

Through the looking glass: Roy Noble live on air, about to be joined by Mark Rees.

How can I listen?

You can listen to the interview on Roy Noble’s BBC Sounds page. It will be available for one month after the original broadcast.

Here’s the show description:
