Discover Welsh Folklore and Ghost Stories

On Nos Calan Gaeaf, the Welsh Halloween, the veil between worlds was said to be at its thinnest. Bonfires blazed, eerie swede lanterns lit the dark, and terrifying figures like headless white ladies and the dreaded black sow were said to roam the night.

Swansea itself has a rich tapestry of hauntings. From ruined castles and windswept beaches to shadowy streets and old theatres, restless spirits continue to capture the imagination.

Mark Rees will share both historical accounts and chilling local legends, bringing Welsh folklore and Swansea’s most haunted locations to life.
