Tell me more about the shortlisted book and podcast
Paranormal Wales
The book Paranormal Wales is a spine-chilling journey in search of Wales’s spookiest locations.
Unlike Mark’s previous books, which explored more obscure, long-lost accounts of things that go bump in the night, this one does the opposite.
These are the most famous, most well-known, and most (supposedly) haunted places in the land.
You can read all about it on the Paranormal Wales page.
Ghosts and Folklore of Wales podcast with Mark Rees
The Ghosts and Folklore of Wales podcast is a podcast that explores Wales’ weird and wonderful history.
Ranging from real-life accounts of ghosts and hauntings, to more fantastical stories from myths and legends, each episode investigates a different topic based on Mark’s unique insight and research.
These range from Victorian poltergeists to the ever-elusive fairy folk, or the skull-headed Mari Lwyd and the timeless tales of the Mabinogion. There’s even a few special guests long the way.
New episodes are uploaded every Thursday, and can be listened to and subscribed to on the Ghosts and Folklore of Wales podcast page.
Enjoy!
